In order to achieve the most efficient engine combustion, the right combination of fuel and cool is needed. The most recent model of the Volkswagen Group that utilizes a 2.0-liter TFSI engine can sometimes prove inefficient when the mercury starts to rise. The answer to this conundrum is a new Forge Twintercooler.
The Forge Twintercooler is, of course, an intercooler that is placed in front of the stock intercooler. The Twintercooler uses a totally unique design with a high air flow that ensures that the engine cools considerably more air. This provides efficient combustion for the entire range of RPM that also results in more power and less fuel consumption. Even at high RPM with a similar outdoor temperature, the Forge Twintercooler saw much cooler temperatures. In fact, the original intercooler by itself measured at 102 degrees Fahrenheit while the TwinterCooler decreased that number by 20 degrees. Our engineers can mount the TwinterCooler professionally and can combine that with a little remapping to boot. This intercooler is also available for several other 1.4-liter TFSI and TDI models in the Volkswagen Group.
